Customization Ideas for Your Perfect Pavé Ring
A pavé engagement ring is defined by small diamonds set into the band itself, packed closely together to create a continuous shimmer along the shank. But pavé is a starting point, not an endpoint. Here's how to make a pavé ring uniquely yours.
Full Pavé vs. 3/4 Pavé vs. Half Pavé
Full pavé covers the entire band with diamonds all the way around the finger. 3/4 pavé covers most of the band, fading out toward the back. Half pavé covers only the top portion visible when wearing. Each creates a different amount of sparkle.
Two-Tone Pavé
Setting white diamonds into a yellow gold or rose gold band creates a beautiful contrast effect. The warm metal tone beneath the white diamonds makes them appear to float.
Combining Pavé with Other Design Elements
Pavé pairs beautifully with twist bands, hidden halos, and split shanks. A pavé twist — where a twisted band is fully set with small diamonds — is one of our most popular designs.
